Target Group

ST4 users who want to create HTML based layouts.

Prerequisites

• Basic knowledge in HTML and CSS

• Experience with the XML data structure within SCHEMA ST4

• Confident use of the SCHEMA ST4 PLD

• Knowledge in XPath recommended

Scope

In the ST4 BasicLine and the ST4 DocuManager, the layout for HTML-based production can be created and changed with the Online Media Designer, without the need for programming. Users work with frames and a WYSIWYG preview.
In the training, the concept of the Online Media Designer is explained. Typical and frequently requested layout changes are demonstrated and discussed. With individual exercises, the customer gains practical experience and can later realize his own requirements.

In addition we show how to expand the layout by modules which can be downloaded from the internet.
A sample layout serves as the basis for inidividual layout design and is used in the training.
The participants receive the template at the end of the course.
